On Friday afternoon, I received an e-mail from Bijou telling me she was now in Winnipeg. We agreed on a 5 PM appointment that same day for two hours. Sincere, and sincerely interested in everything, with well-focused and articulate observations about her life and career. She had a equally cute french accent that came and went as the evening wore on.
Her warm and open personality was appealing to me immensely. To me, she was segueing from the cute girl-next-door who greeted me at the door to a truly beautiful woman. She finally said, "How would you like to join me in the shower?" Well, how could any sane man resist. We showered with much mutual soaping and more than a few laughs and giggles.
